Jesse Kaufman Custom Pre 64 Model 70 30-06 ,24" barrel,stocked,finished,hand checkered and engraved by Jesse Kaufman Remington Master Engraver who stocked over 1500 Dakota rifles in the 11 years he worked there.The receiver is deep relief engraving in American scroll.The custom one piece floorplate and trigger guard has a Bullino engraved Mule Deer game scene with gold wire and deep relief American scroll.The receiver and floorplate has been Carbona blued with a rust blued barrel and color Talley bases and bolt shroud,3 panel checkered bolt knob,engraved and casecolored grip cap.The extractor and all engraved screws have been Nitre blued.The wood is a piece of English Walnut with a unique visable graft line of Bastogne starting at the mid receiver and running through the butt of the stock,pancake cheekpiece and shadowline.As new condition.A true work of gunmaking art!
