Description:
This model 70 is in excellent condition for the time period that it was manufactured. There are some handling marks on the barrel, most of which are on top of the barrel and were probably from storage. There is a small amount of speckling on top of the bolt. The floorplate has lost most of its bluing. The wood looks very good, but does have a couple of minor dings and scratches. The most noticeable marks are located above the trigger guard on the left side of the gun and then on the right side just below the action near the serial number. The checkered pistol grip is worn down a little, but the checkering is still pronounced. The bore looks fantastic with very sharp rifling.
