Description:
28" tapered, matted-flat-topped, round, fluid steel barrel with fine bead front sight, 1 standing and 1 folding platinum-lined leaf sights engraved for 150 and 250 yards. Figured English walnut stock with horn-forend-tipped , key-fastened splinter forend, classic point-pattern checkering, horn-capped pistol grip, sling eyes to barrel and buttstock, and checkered steel buttplate. Fine scroll engraved peninsular sidelock action with non-rebounding hammer, stalking safety and Jones underlever with sculpted percussion fence and symmetrically-beaded top of action body. Pull: 14 3/4". Weight: 8lbs, 6oz. Built 1870. Retaining 99% blue and 50% casehardening colors. Excellent, mirror-bright Enfield rifling. With loading data.
