Description: Browning Citori 625 Field 20 Gauge. 28" barrels with two Browning Invector plus choke tubes, modified and improved cylinder. The photos in this online ad do not do this shotgun justice, and the worst of these are of the engravings on the sides of the receiver. In each of the photos within the heavier scroll engraving are flushing game birds, a pair of bobwhites on the right and ruffed grouse on the left. Unfortunately at the time of photographing, we had lighting problems and were not able to capture the images of the game bird engravings to the camera. But in person the engraved game bird scenes look really great on the shotgun! Here's more about this 625 Citori: Overall the shotgun is in very good condition, however, there are two issues. No.1: The white bead to the front sight is broken off, only the threaded portion of the bead remains, which can be seen when shooting the shotgun. No.2. The comb of the butt-stock was taken down to fit the previous owner. Browning Citori standard DAC (drop at comb) is usually 1 1/2" and DAH (drop at heel) is 2 1/8" to 2 1/4". But with the wood work to the comb on this Citori, the DAC measures 1 7/8" and the DAH is at 2 1/8". Who ever did the work did a pretty good job of finishing the wood and making it hard to detect any work was done. Two things stand out for those with a good eye, the radius curve from top of grip to comb is short, and the other, the lacquer oil finish applied to the butt-stock after the work was completed is beginning to rub off in places.
