This is the nicest original 1917 vintage 1911 I have ever seen or offered for sale. I would call it museum quality without hesitation. The original finish is 97% wit no signs of refinish help or enhancements. The gun is matching and correct and photos can not do it justice. Correct GHS inspectors mark, Correct slide markings correct parts and stamps. The serial number puts it in the October of 1917 date range.. Grips are very good. Includes 1 period correct and possibly two tone original magazine
