We have remarked that although the gun is marked '357 magnum / 38 special', only the 357 magnum cartridges cycle through the magazine into the gun. The 38 special catridges can be loaded singly without issue. The only apology on the entire firearm is a small dent in the finish on the right side of the buttstock. Otherwise, the gun is as new.
