Remington 1890 Model Single Action Revolver -
Remington "ORIGINAL" 1890 Model Single Action Revolver - 1894 production. It has a 7 1/2" round barrel that reads,
"REMINGTON ARMS CO., ILION, N.Y."
It's a six-shot, .44-40 WCF, has walnut grips, is marked serial #1749 found under the grips. The finish is cleaned with light pitting throughout...Mechanically fine.
The Remington Revolver was quite a scarce successor to the Model 1875 Army and a competitor to the Colt Single Action.
This is a rare, long-barreled Model 1890... The 1890 Model is one of the most sought after Remington hand guns, at an entirely livable price. Antique $2750.
