Description: Nice old Marlin 39 S/L/LR, SN5820 (early 1920 vintage). Rifle has about 60% case color, tang sights plus standard sights. Bore is a strong 8 out of 10. The rifle SN does not have any prefixes or suffixes which tells you it is very early and not to shoot high speed ammo in it. The wood is very good with some bruising on the stock. Everything works well including the magazine loader. Butt stock is original with the “S” curve on the pistol grip. A very nice, old rifle , to add to your collection.
