Description: Very nice vintage 1890 Short, SN 66043, with correct barrel markings.. Case hardened receiver and butt plate. Comes with the mag stop on the inner mag tube – a must for a vintage 1890. I conservatively rate the bore a 7 out 10. The rifle has one SN located on bottom tang as required. The wood is very good – a couple of very minor dents on the stock. Everything is proper inside the receiver, i.e. the springs, proper carrier, etc. There is a very minor mark on the right upper corner of the receiver that is dark indicating where a spot of rust might try to start. Part of my collection and needs a good home.
