Description:
Serial #24799, .22 LR, 5” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is actually a complete pistol made by mating Colt .22 conversion unit to an Essex frame. The unit is complete with a floating chamber equipped barrel, ejector, and Colt .22 magazine, and retains 97-98% of the original blue finish with some mild fading and silvering on the edges and bearing surfaces. The frame retains a commensurate amount of original matte blue with an extended beavertail grip safety and sharply checkered double-diamond grips. The original woodgrain, two-piece box is included and comes complete with combo tool, papers, and original wax paper wraps. This is a fine-excellent .22 Government Model type pistol overall. FFL
