For sale is a Browning Olympian rifle chambered in .243. This is part of a 2 rifle set we have that may be purchased together or separately (The second rifle is chambered in 30-06 and listed separately on GI). The rifle has a 22" pencil barrel and Sako Action. This is a high quality rifle is excellent condition that show limited use. Beautiful Hardwood stock with Rosewood forend and gripplate. Grip plate has diamond gold inset. Stock has hard buttplate. Stock has decorative fine line checkering and floral leaf patterns. The receiver, floorplate and trigger guard have French Gray finish with decorative engraving of game scenes. Receiver engraving completed by Marechal. Floorplate and trigger guard signed by Lilly Lambert. Serial #11363B9 which suggest date of manufacture to be 1959. Overall condition is very good with a few short scratches located at the bottom of the stock between the rear swivel and hard buttplate. Blue finish is in excellent condition.
