.69 caliber, 44 1/2 inch barrel, dated 1800 on butt plate tang, all lock markings correct for early date, partial inspector's mark, bore is dark, scattered light oxidation on most metal parts, significant oxidation on butt plate, wood is weathered immediately adjacent to the lock plate, metal and wood lightly cleaned, excellent mechanically.
