Description:
Very nice sawed off Double Barrel Shotgun marked Field on lock plate and Patented Steel on the top of the barrels. Nice inscribed work on lock, trigger guard and screws. Wood is in excellent condition. No cracks or repairs. Nice dark smooth patina. Lots of bolster wear. Action works great on left side but only cocks on one position on the right side. Overall length just 36 inches. Barrel lengths just around 19 inches. No rust. No ram rod. Outstanding Civil War era gun that could have easily been used by the South. More photos on request. Very cool and affordable Civil War era or earlier sawed off shotgun.
