Awesome Solingen Imported Civil War Officer 1850 Non Regulation Sword. This is the upgraded model with Brass hand guard and etching. Etching on this one is in very good condition. Very light pitting at the tip of the blade. Blade is just at 32 inches long and 38 inches total length. Shark skin wrap is mostly all present with some high worn areas. All original 2 ply twisted brass wiring is intact. Iron Proof marking on the spine of the blade. Original Scabbard is in very good condition with a salt and pepper grey finish. Fits like a glove. One tiny indent. Has gold paint left over probably from GAR Hall. Everything is solid on this sword and the price is excellent. Condition is Very Good. Shop and compare prices.
