We have here a 1907 vintage Winchester 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine in .38-55. 20 inch round barrel, saddle ring, carbine butt, Type 42 adjustable leaf rear sight and ivory bead pinned blade front sight. "WH" (about 1/4 inch high...initials?) in stock just behind lower tang. Bore is not bright but still good. Finish is worn to a gray/plum patina. No rust or pitting. Case colors barely evident on lever, screws are good. Normal wear marks. This is a nice old carbine that is ready for the saddle, woods, the collection safe, or the wall in your office or trophy room. A good shooter. Shipping and Insurance $50. Personal checks OK.
