Gatling Gun - Model 1878 Field Gun, built by Valley Engraving LLC. in Woodsfield, Ohio, a full scale reproduction of the 1878 Gatling gun with a few changes, the Gatling gun includes a large carriage and tri-pod, the gun has ten 32” barrels with a bolt or lock assembly for each barrel, the gun uses a Broadwell drum feed system which holds 216 rounds of standard .45-70 Government ammunition, there are 12 slots with each slot holding 18 rounds, the gun comes with two drums, the gun itself weighs an approximate 218 pounds, this Gatling gun was made to the same specifications as the original Gatling gun, the bolts on this Gatling gun are interchangeable with the original Colt Gatling guns, a wonderful high quality reproduction that is built to the highest level in every aspect, a wonderful show piece for any fine gun room.
