As nice a 1911-A1 as you will see anywhere. The gun is pristine, there is almost no evidence of use anywhere. This is as fine a gun as you will see for anywhere near this price. The only finish loss that there is, is very slight edge silvering on the sharp edges and muzzle. The rest of the gun is flawless. No pits, rust or pin pricks anywhere. There is the usual, but very slight, take down lever scratch. The grips show absolutely no toning. You can easily say the gun has 99.9+% of the original Colt Parkerizing. All numbers match and all parts are correct for the gun. The left rear of the frame has the Crossed Cannon Ordinance Wheel. The top of the slide the "P" proof. The left side of the frame, GHD inspectors stamp and a "P" proof below that. The brown plastic grips are the correct small ring type and they are minty. The grip screws are unmarred. The bolt face and feed ramp show no perceptible use. The barrel is marked on the left side "Colt .45 Auto, the bottom stamped a "D" heat treat mark and the right leg a "P" proof. The bore is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling without even a hint of graying. The bore, like the rest of the gun shows almost no use. The gun comes with one "R' (Risdon) stamped magazine This is a true "Cabinet Queen” if there ever was one......$3295.**
