Description:
A respectable Nambu Type 14 Japanese officers pistol chambered in the 8mm Nambu necked cartridge. most of these were taken from a cold dead hand, as very few were surrendered which was a dishonor. This gun has the typical thin wartime finish, and some very fine freckles on the right side from jungle humidity. The right side has a SN 49197, and the mag has number 197. the Armory markings are Toriimatsu Second Series pistol made in 1944 at the Nagoya arsenal. Bore is shiny, clean and rifled.The hardwood armory made grips have some typical oil staining at the top of the right grip from keeping this gun well oiled in a tropical atmosphere.
