Sold Pending Funds / Japanese Type 99 Arisaka Bolt Action Rifle, manufactured by KOKURA, (series 22) serial # 3773, 7.7 Arisaka, 26" barrel with a very good bore that has a slight bulge near the muzzle end that is matching a small dent on the outside. This may have been caused by a foreign object glancing off the barrel. The metal surfaces retain about 99% of an arsenal blue finish that has a few light handling marks and is lightly flaking to brown. The mum is intact and receiver markings are crisp. The hardwood buttstock and handguard rate excellent and have a few minor nicks, dings but nothing alarming. Included are a cleaning rod, correct monopod, aircraft sight and dust cover. The rifle appears to be all matching except for the dust cover numbered 0?6 and it’s in near excellent condition with the exception of the barrel condition already mentioned. Note: The triggerguard screws are all staked and have never been messed with. This is a nice collector’s piece that should be checked by a gunsmith before firing and therefore were selling it as a parts gun no returns. The overall condition as photographed and described is very good plus - near excellent. Inv.: # 2-1681
