Description:
Serial #D2494, .38 Special, 2 1/2” vent rib barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1966 manufactured revolver that retains virtually all of the original blue finish with only a minor turn-ring visible on the cylinder. There are some tiny scratches on the right side of the topstrap at the opening for the rear sight retaining pin. Additionally, there is a small raised area of metal on top that follows the pin channel. The lock-up is tight and the mechanism functions flawlessly. The checkered walnut Colt medallion grips are likewise in excellent shape with only some negligible traces of flattening to the points on the butt. This is an excellent example of a highly desirable, first year of production Colt Diamondback. FFL or C&R
