WW2 MAUSER K98K CAPTURED IN VIETNAM SAUER CODE 147 DATED 1939 SAUER 8X57 RIFLE. Serial numbered "9137" on receiver and barrel. Other parts not mathcing as assembled in Russia or Vietnam where it was captured so NO import marks. Captured by Bird-Dog observation pilot during Vietnam and been in family ever since. VC leather/canvas sling accompany it. Few small pits here and there from jungle use typical of VC use. Never been cleaned or refinished so as is when it was captured. Original stock with matching serial number on buttstock right cheek. Code 147 Sauer made K98 receiver, barrel and stock with all the waffenampts and correct codes. All screws unturned. Excellent bore and rifling with NO pits or signs of corrosion. Interesting historic gun that will fit well in any WW2 and/or Vietnam collection.
