This rifle sat in a gun cabinet for 75 years. There are no markings on the gun other than the " Custom 30-06". That being said anyone that is familiar with R F Sedgleys work has liked this rifle. It was my uncles then my fathers. My father nor uncle hunted after WW2, I doubt that since my uncles purchase of this gun it has been shot a dozen times. His association with the Frankford Arsenal in Philadelphia is where I believe he came to have Sedgley's. I again stress, this is not stamped with sybol, SWerial number, or Sedgley of Philadelphia. Any questions I will answer to the best of my ability. I did not oil it up to make it look pretty, the lint and such is there. The rifle is a beauty and in excellent shape. Buyer pays shipping and insurance costs. ?To answer a couple questions, no I have no more Sedgleys. I appreciate some of the suggestions, and am lowering the price accordingly. Yes it is the 24" barrel, and the stock was made for this rifle specifically. i welcome any further suggestions.
