The miners were nicknamed "The 49ers", so this gun is stamped with The 49er Miner, and is #62 of only 500 ever made. It has gold plated cylinder, hammer and trigger with the frame and barrel blued, has rich dark Rosewood grips & gold Colt medallions., Made in 1965, this firearm comes in a nice dark walnut stained fitted presentation case with "The 49er Miner" on cover..
