Description:
A very accurate .308 volt action made by BSA of England, with a three round internal mag and a super slick action. This model M84 is different from the earlier models with a Mauser 98 action. a lot of the finish has faded from being stored in a hunting lodge. Right side of the frame states: MADE IN ENGLAND .308. The 23 " tapered barrel has a very good, clean, rifled bore. I believe that this action was made by BSA. The back of the bolt body has a loading indicator pin, and the right side on the back bolt has a side safety switch. The fancy French walnut hand checkered stock has a right side raised cheek piece, and an ebony pistol grip plate, as well as an ebony nose cap. Was a very fancy gun when new. Has a Herters black hard rubber butt-plate, so I suspect it may have sold through Herrerts long ago. Has a hinged magazine trigger plate,also has sling swivel studs. Top of the frame has raised area for a scope mount and pre-drilled factory holes also for different mounts . Two drilled and tapped holes at the left rear frame for a peep sight if necessary. No front or rear sights come with the gun, and is ready for your scope mount. Priced fairly. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
