Description:
This fine rifle, Moisin Nagant with a 1935 dated Tula with a hex frame so unusual for this late gun. The date and a hexagonal receiver.has the Russian star, and numerous proofs. The Russian wood is solid and not composite made, with dings and scrapes and some age crack not open. Action works good, and the bolt number is 11418, and the frame is 160601. .This has a cleaning rod. The 32 1/2" barrel has a good bore with strong rifling and surface roughness in the grooves from corrosive wartime primers. Overall the gun looks good to me, and I don't see any importer marks.
