Antique 1850s Colt 1849 Pocket Case with accessories, key for 4 inch barrel. This case is an authentic Colt case ca. 1850s for a Colt 1849 Pocket with a 4 inch bbl. When I got it, it had an engraved Colt pocket in it, but that was stolen. The case has American partitions, correct Colt brass powder flask, correct “Colt’s Patent” marked two-cavity brass bullet mold, correct box of paper cartridges and the key. It is lined with a faded pinkish felt. Excellent condition. All it needs is a gun. In the last few years several huge collections of the last of the old timers to die have been sold at Julia’s. Among the items were a bunch of empty Colt cases. I noted the prices hammered down (not counting 15% buyers premium) and priced this accordingly. This box has the correct accoutrements already in it, and a key, often missing. $20 shipping & Insurance. I take Paypal, bank checks and money orders. 5 star seller on eBay, rated excellent on etsy.
