Serial #24956, Mfg. 1932. 24" barrel. 70%+ origianl blue, thinning in normal handling areas. Bright metal on edges. No pitting. Bore is excellent and shiny. Mechanically fine; smooth action. Adjustable Lyman peep sight and folding leaf open sight. This rifle is extremely accurate, The varnished stock shows handling and storage wear; 2, one inch scratches on right side and a small ding at the bottom near butt plate. The Remington trademark butt plate is fine with thinning blue. The gun has been in storage for many years and has seldom been used over the years.
