Tony Galazan and his Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company (CSMC) are the Kings of the Model 21 world. First having "AUTHORIZED REPAIR CENTER" status, then buying out U.S. Repeating Arms inventory and completing guns with said inventory, to being the sole builder of the famous Winchester Model 21 in his own factory in Connecticut, CSMC has earned its reputation for building the original Model 21 in all its glory. This gun, snW38167, was built by CSMC as a GRAND AMERICAN .410 BORE, with the GRAND AMERICAN engraving pattern and the solid gold inlays, ventilated rib barrels, B Carved Exhibition wood, a second set of 28ga. vent rib barrels with its own forend assembly, lightening cuts in the frame and barrel flats (.410 set only), blank gold initial shield in the belly of the stock, and is cased in a fine leather case with accessories. The Grand American Model 21 is the epitome of fine gun making with full coverage engraving, jeweled action, barrel flats, forend metal, etc. and the finest wood with fancy carved flor-de-lis patterns and ribbons. What a fun gun with the 28" barrels in both .410 bore and 28ga....a perfect gun for skeet or sporting clays, or taking birds in the appropriate setting. And of course this gun will be serving generations to come, as it is the strongest double shotgun ever built. This Grand American set would cost over $35,000 to buy new to your specs, and would take over a year for delivery.
