Serial numbered in the 77,xxx range this polished nickel Python was manufactured in 1968. During this early period of production Colt was still nickel plating the rear sights and the workmanship overall was superior to the later production guns. This example has been shot, but shows no appreciable wear, and because of some spotting and surface scratches, would rate about 98%. The action is in perfect time and the bore is mint.
