Smith & Wesson 3rd Model Russian. Made in 1875. Very fine example. 70% of the original blue with the remainder turned to a bluish plum patina mixture. Grips are excellent. Gun works perfectly. Case colors are on the hammer. Gun is all matching. This gun comes with a factory letter. It was shipped to M.W. Robinson in New York which was Smith & Wesson’s biggest distributor. This shipment was sold to Schuyler Hartley & Graham Co. in New York. Very fine example of a Smith & Wesson Russian.
