PRICE REDUCED!!! You are viewing one used Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle in caliber 30 WCF. It has six special order features, all verified by the Cody Museum letter as seen in the last picture. They include a 26" part octagon extra lightweight barrel, 1/2 magazine, takedown, shotgun butt and hard rubber buttplate. Front sight is Lyman, rear sight is later Winchester replacement (22G series with thumbprint/patent date elevator). Bore has very good rifling but is a little dark in the grooves, about a 7 of 10, may clean better. Action is tight and crisp, half-cock safety seems to function properly. If you intend to shoot this rifle,have it checked by a competent gunsmith. Takedown feature operates as designed and is still tight with no wobble. Stocks are in good condition with no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, just one stupid sling swivel hole in toe line of buttstock; buttstock includes original widow's peak hard rubber buttplate with Winchester logo. Overall a decent representation of a special order rifle with a scarce barrel configuration manufactured in 1902 so it will require an FFL or C&R license for shipping. No international sales.
