Description:
The Colt " Banker's Special" was made from 1926 to 1940. The 6-shot revolvers were fitted with a 2 inch barrel, square or round butt frame, checkered walnut grips, and were chambered in either .38 Colt New Police or .38 S&W. This gun is a square butt gun chambered in .38 S&W. It is excellent used condition, retaining 95% of its original blue finish. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, though there is a spot of corrosion. The action is tight and functions perfectly. A very hard Colt to find.
