Description:
For the collector/investor, extra nice WWI Colt 1911. Serial #490xxx, mfg. 1918. 70% black Army finish, fading thin blue in handling areas, Holster wear on edges and mechanical wear spots; some scratches. No rust or pitting. Bore shiny, marked PH. All markings are clear and strong. Springfield Armory inspectors mark by trigger; "United States Property". All original parts and finish. Original walnut grips have good checkering, no chips. This Colt is mechanically fine. Three extra mags are included. All four are period mags, pinned, two toned and two with lanyard loops. The secomd mag with the lanyard loop appears to have been a WWI battlefield relic, has deep corrosion. A real historical piece; hard to find in this condition and price. Please ask questions.
