As nice as it gets, this A-1 has 98-99% of the Parkerized finish remaining. There is some very slight edge and muzzle silvering, a tiny rub mark or two and that's it. There isn't even the usual slide rub mark from the action when it recoils thru the frame. There is of course a very faint take down lever scratch. And that, at best, is very faint. The telltale grip straps do not have the slightest bit of graying. The slight silvering that there is appears to be typical of occasional holster wear.
All parts are proper for the gun. The top of the slide is "P" stamped and the right side of the frame has the correct Crossed Cannon Ordinance stamp. The left side has the FJF inspector's stamp and a "P" proof. The brown plastic grips are perfect in every way and are the correct small ring type. The grip screws are unmarred. The bolt face, feed ramp and slide rails appear to have had negligible use.. The barrel is a correct " P' proofed High Standard.
The bore, like the rest of the gun appears to be flawless. Mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. Careful examination of it does not pick up even a trace of frosting. The magazine is, like the rest of the gun, completely proper. It is stamped "L" for M.S Little Co.
None better for your collection center piece or in your shooting box for the range.......$2595.
