It has a large-ringed hammer. It was made for export to the US market to Von Lengerke and Detmold in New York. The gun is beautifully rust-blued and has nitre-blued springs and rear sights. This gun is in its original, un-restored condition. The 23-groove walnut grips are all original and all serialized parts are matching. This is easily a 95% condition gun with only slight bluing loss on high areas and the front sight. This gun features a 1000 meter sight, a long extractor, and is in the 20,XXX serial range. This gun is a beautiful example of a pre-WWI commercial gun. These Mauser C96 Broomhandles were functional works of art and displayed a high degree of craftsmanship and machining. This is an investment-grade firearm. All items are also available for sale in our brick & mortar store and are subject to prior sale. Think long, think wrong.
