Description:
Beautiful L.C.Smith 12ga O grade.Built in 1902,this gun has the finest set of 32"damascus barrels I have seen in a long time.Both barrels are choked full (.033") and both bore diameters are .727".The bores are bright and free of any rust,dents,or pits.The wall thickness averages over .045",so the gun is safe to shoot.I just patterned it with Winchester super-X 11/2 oz short magnums and it patterns beautifully.The gun retains over 90% of the original case colors and 98% of the original damascus pattern.The stock has had finish added at some time,but is very sound with no cracks or damage.The stock dimensions are 14" over a modern pad,11/2" at comb,and 23/8"at heel.Other features include double triggers,extractors,a splinter forend with an ebony tip.The gun weighs 8-0.A great turkey gun or a fun gun for vintager shoots.
