This 1897 has 100% original finish in every way, has about 85% original nickel OA, all screws are nickel plated also, has a Marbles or Lyman tang sight, the front sight has been changed to an Ivory bead sight, rear is original, black powder bore has some pitting, but nice rifling and will still shoot good I am sure. The Mechanics are perfect, wood has some minor dents, but all original varnish A really rare Marlin for the guy who want the hard to find guns, I never saw one before like this!!
