Description:
Serial #X15659, .45 Colt, 8” octagon barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This revolver is a close copy of the 1868 Remington-Beals conversion to .46 RF, but chambered in the ever popular (and available) .45 Colt. The metal retains nearly all of the original blue with only a faint turn-ring on the cylinder. The hammer has bright original color case-hardening, and there is an overall dull, yellow-ochre patina on the trigger guard. The smooth walnut grips are in excellent condition with almost no handling marks or blemishes present. The action is smooth and fully functional and the revolver rates excellent condition overall.
