Description:
This gun is marked Centaure, Made in Liege Belgium. The underside of the barrels are Stamped (FALLA)
I believe this gun was made by(Fabriques d' Armes Unies de Liege)
The usual importer for the "Centaure" was Continental Arms. However this gun is not marked with Continental Arms. I recently imported it from England .
This gun is very similar in style and quality to the Merkel and other german over & unders. It has the double Kirsten lock-up and cross-bolt. It features a bolstered frame and locks-up tight as a vault.
The gun has a 3-piece forend. auto ejectors, and a single selective trigger.(the selector is behind the trigger)
The gun has a coin finished action and has nice scroll engraving with game scenes, The wood has beautiful dark streaks. Their are no deep scratches or cracks. The checkering is sharp. The wood could use a good cleaning and conditioner, but I have not attempeted to do so. I believe the finish is all original. The barrels retain most of their original blue. There is some thinning near the muzzle and some slight corrosion in that area (Shown in my photos ) The bores are bright and shiny with one small area of frosting near the chamber of the upper barrel.

12 guage 2&3/4 in chambers.
The ejectors and selective trigger works fine.
This is a great gun for the price! I have priced it this low because of the minor cosmetic defects I have descibed in this ad. This is a ready to use gun that will provide many years of service to its next owner.
