Built as a tribute to the cooperative effort between Samuel Colt and Samuel Walker this reproduction 1847 Colt Walker could be a very nice addition to your collection. These were a limited addition of 1850 guns, this one being number 1255. It is a 95-98% revolver that comes, as pictured with the presentation case and a beautiful hard bound book with a matching number. “The Colt Heritage” endorsed by George A. Strichman Colts Chairman of the board at that time, he dubbed the book “the official history of Colt Firearms”. As to the condition of this particular firearm I would rate it even higher if not for a couple of small scratches from handling however it does not appear to have been fired. The display box also has some scratches that have been touched up and a glue joint in the lid is slightly separated. This is to be expected in real wood products and is really not very noticeable. The gold leaf edged, hard bound book is perfect. We have not test fired this offering however all mechanisms appear to function as designed. Freight will be actual freight charge the case and book will ship separately to insure integrity of the products you are buying.
