Description:
This is a Winchester 1894 Takedown rifle in .30 WCF (.30-30). The serial number dates to 1906. It has a 24 inch half round/half octagon barrel, a fore end cap, a half magazine, a flat top rear sight, a bead front sight on a ramp, and a straight grip butt stock with a crescent steel butt plate. The receiver is in Good condition with some handling marks and no pitting. The barrel has a little minor pitting near the rear sight. This rifle has about 70 pecent blue remaining. The bore has some pitting, but is not dark and the rifling is strong.
