38 WCF cal. 28" round barrel with good bore. Bbl. has been cleaned long ago but has turned a brown/grey color. Original sights. Someone has added some red paint to the front to make it show up better. Real good action. Receiver has a brown patina. Wood is good fitting and has no cracks. Stock looks lightly sanded with a coat of oil added long ago. A good looking and usable early second year production Winchester.
