Description:
Cal. 38 WCF. 24" octagon bbl. with full length mag tube. Original sights include a Lyman Sheard bead front and sporting rear. Forearm cap & stock are fitted with eyes for a Winchester sling. Case colored receiver. Plain trigger. Forearm & pistol grip stock with ebony insert of XX fancy American black walnut with factory style H checkering & crescent steel trapdoor buttplate. Bbl. has dull fading blue. Mag tube is a brown color with blue in the protected areas. Receiver has traces of color in the protected areas as well as traces on the hammer and lever. Otherwise the frame, forend cap and butt plate have silvered out. Wood is good is in good shape with the usual handling marks. Action is crisp and bore is shiny. Comes with a copy of the factory letter confirming the features.
