Description:
This is an excellent-condition Unertl 8-power USMC-Sniper (1940 contract) rifle scope. Reticle is fine dot/medium crosshairs. Optics are clear, and the scope includes the original steel lens caps, which were in place when the scope was not in use. It was acquired with a .22 target rifle from a DCM-affiliated rifle club in Kansas in the mid-1960's and is not believed to have "seen combat"; it was used primarily on that rifle or a Remington 40X single-shot .222 Rem., so no heavy recoil in it's history. Bases are for the 40X, the mounts are fully functional and complete. No 'can'. Shipped UPS Ground, about $15.00 + insurance for amount of sale. Will consider 10x or 12x Unertl or Lyman Super Target Spot in partial trade.
