For sale, a Ruger Speed Six that has been fully customized and accurized as a target/competition pistol by Bill Davis, a very well known competition pistol smith. There was no expense spared to make this Ruger a top notch target gun. First off the factory barrel was replaced with a match grade heavy bull barrel by S.A. Garrett. This barrel is stainless steel and has sharp rifling and a beautifully crowned muzzle. An "Aristocrat" sight was added that is adjustable for windage and elevation, and has a quick adjust front sight where the settings are for 7, 25, and 50 yards. A quick slide of the bar that runs thru the front sight can change your zero to any of those 3 distances in a matter of seconds. The action work on this Ruger is really where it comes into it's own. The hammer has been bobbed and there has been an adjustable trigger stop added, but the real work that matters you can't see unless you open up the inside's of this gun. The trigger pull is smooth and light. There is no resemblance to what a factory Speed Six feels like. You can stage it with ease amazingly fast and consistently. Time after time you can feel the stopping point thru the trigger naturally and it takes only a minute of practice to master it. This gun has everything you need to become a real competitor. Add this Ruger to your collection and beat your friends at range night or take up competitive shooting, this Speed Six is capable of doing either VERY well!
