Description:
Serial #1325, .32 Extra Short (RF), 1 3/4” barrel with a very good bore that has freckling within the grooves and at the breech. This is a nice looking rather scarce pistol, almost identical to the more famous Chicago “Protector”, that has has matching numbers on the frame, side plate, and removable chamber turret. The metal retains about 50-60% of the original nickel finish, mostly on the barrel, that has worn to the underlying smooth plum-brown metal on the balance. The smooth hard rubber side panels and grip pad are in fine shape with some surface wear, but no cracks or chips. The mechanism requires attention as the chamber turret does advance, but the firing pin does not fire. Only about 300 of these interesting palm pistols were ever made and this example rates fair-good condition overall. Antique
