For sale, a really neat little Harrington and Richardson Vest Pocket "Safety Hammer" model revolver. This antique revolver seems to be fairly scarce in this configuration. It is all original with factory nickel plating with a 1 1/16th inch barrel with no front sight with a bobbed hammer. The top strap of the revolver is stamped "VEST POCKET SAFETY HAMMER". Those are the only letter/numbers stamped on the enitre gun besides the patent date. H&R did not put their name or a serial number anywhere on this little revolver. The hammer is knurled at the very top so it can be fired single action by slightly pulling trigger to start the hammer back and then completing the cocking action by manually pulling the hammer back. The hammer is stamped along the radius of the curve "Patented April 5, 1887". The original black hard rubber grips are in good condition with no cracks or chips, just normal handling wear. The bore and cylinder bores have some pitting but the rifling is still strong. The cylinder pin release still has good spring tension and there is no excessive play between all the parts. Everything works as it should on this revolver like the day it left H&R. This is a chance to get a scarce little pocket pistol at a great price.
