Colt-Model 1877 “Lightening 38”, 2 line address on top of barrel.3-1/2” barrel, serial # 94349,made in 1894; marked “Colt D.A. 38” on side of bbl.; 38 long Colt caliber. Standard makings on front of frame. with rampant Colt. Original fine hard rubber grips with rampant Colt, metal is very clean with 95%+ bright original nickel finish, bore is shiny and has 95% + of the rifling, chambers are clean. Action works fine on single or double action. Very nice piece, in Excellent Plus condition.(Flayderman says 80% 0r more original finish is excellent and this Colt has more than that) Made prior to 1898; Do not need FFL or C & R.
