Description:
This is a superb early S&W 25-2, chambered in .45 ACP, Model 1955, with 6.5 inch barrel and an original display case with all the accessories. This gun has an S-prefix SN S227XXX, and was probably made around 1962-1963. It is in excellent original condition, retaining close to 99% of its original high-polish blue, with just a hint of wear on the left side of the muzzle, a light cylinder ring and a tiny superficial scratch on the left frame , that can only been seen at a certain angle. The bore is mint. Grips are without defects and are original correct target grips. The box is original as well and is an early "clam shell" type with some wear to the flocking as per pictures. It comes with all the original accessories and some half-moon clips as well. A great early set in excellent condition. No import marks. As I had not fired this gun, a thorough gunsmith inspection is recommended before firing. 3-day inspection. FFL or C&R, except in states, municipalities and other localities, where a full 01FFL is required for transfer(CA, NJ). If you are not sure - please, contact me first before .
