Description:
Here is a Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine in 44 WCF caliber. This firearm for it's age has retained some of the better qualities of this iconic firearm. The action is still tight. The wood has been sanded and refinished in it's lifetime, and there are small dents and scratch's in the wood for wear and use. The metal has started turning from it's bluing to a muted grey or brown patina.The serial number on the firearm is 416701 which indictates a manufacture date of 1907 according to the Winchester serial number archives.
